As a Research Intern at ACES Institute, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of experienced researchers from the Secretariat and our pool of subject matter experts to contribute to impactful projects that address critical issues in sustainable growth and public policy. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the objectives of the institute and at the same time offer networking opportunities to aid career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and gather relevant information on assigned research topics.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support ongoing research projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to contribute to research reports, policy briefs, and other publications.
  • Attend meetings, workshops, and seminars to enhance your understanding of the research and policy landscape.
  • Assist the Secretariat in administrative tasks related to research projects as needed.
  • The researcher will have to write 2-3 opinion pieces, a white paper for publishing before the end of the internship period.


  • A Bachelor’s degree graduate or student currently enrolled in a master’s program in a related field (e.g. legal, economics, environmental science, public policy, sustainability etc.)
  • Research enthusiast
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data analysis tools.
  • Passion for sustainable growth, public policy, and global issues.


The internship is a 3–6-month commitment and can be conducted remotely.
